Mt. Vernon Park Association (MVPA) was founded in 1954 and sits on 13.2 acres of land located in Alexandria, Virginia. Its grounds include: 4 tennis courts, a baby pool, 25-meter pool and 50-meter pool, along with a playground, fishing pond, bathhouse, and pavilion.

On Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, the Board of Directors opens the park, continuing over 65 years of ongoing operation with a schedule of park-sponsored children’s and adult activities, NVSL Team Swimming and adult and junior tennis teams. The Park also holds other activities and events, throughout the summer season that conclude Labor Day.
