You’re encouraged to bring your own water, bug spray, tools, especially rakes and gloves, plus items like shovels, clippers/loppers, etc. Whatever you have that you think would be useful, bring it along. Read below for more details on who can participate etc.

Additional Details and Guidelines:

Families with regular, not life memberships, are able to earn back up to $125 of their dues by volunteering for 8 hours during scheduled Work Days.  The work can be done by a combination of family members but a member family may not earn back more than $125 per year and the combined hours must total at least 8 hours to receive the full $125 back. Fewer hours worked are pro-rated.

  • Children under 16 are not allowed to attend work days.
  • Sign in at park to receive credit. Make sure you print your full name clearly on the volunteer sheet when you arrive and depart the park to receive credit for your Work Day hours.  In May you will receive a check for your work.
  • Please make sure you have your correct address in your online account at www.mtvpa.com. Your refund check will be mailed to your house after 8 hrs are completed or the final work day has passed.
  • Please bring your own water bottle to use throughout the day. Lunch will be provided.
