Many of you know that former MVPA Park Manager, Brendan Harris, passed away last week after battling cancer.  We will be hosting a reception at the park, following his funeral, on June 23rd at 1:00 pm.  Friends and neighbors are invited to attend to celebrate his life and love for the park.  If you are interested in helping with the reception (set-up, serving, other duties) please reach out to Kristine Kilbride at president.mvpa@gmail.com.

We have cards at the gatehouse that you can use to write a memory of Brendan or a note to his family.   We will give the cards to Brendan’s wife Sue on the day of the reception.

We are anticipating a large crowd for the reception, therefore the park will be closed for regular park activities during this time.  We will open at 4:00 pm on June 23rd
