MVPA will be hosting a Swim Clinic with Resident Pro Cassidy Bayer on July 20th and 21st.

The clinic is geared towards the swimmer who can already swim and is looking to improve on stroke skills or is interested in pushing their swimming career to the next level.

The day will be broken up into sections, first being a dry-land piece that will go for roughly 45 minutes.   Next will follow the swimming portion lasting an hour and a half.  Lastly, there will be a Q&A where snacks will be provided for the participants.  During the Q&A parents are encouraged to attend.  We will discuss any questions either the participants or parents have regarding swimming, mental health, fueling, etc.

About Cassidy Bayer

Hello gators!

A little bit about me, I was a gator from the age of 5-18. Before graduating from MVPA Swim Team I was on the National and Jr. National swim team for the United States and was able to travel the world to do what I love!

In 2016 I placed 3rd and 4th in the 200 and 100 Butterfly at the Olympic Trials which was exciting, yet a bit of a heart break being a spot off of the Olympic team.

I graduated in 2018 and then went on to swim at the University of California Berkeley. I have recently transferred to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where I have continued to swim!

I love my gators and would love the opportunity to teach them some of what I’ve learned over the years.

Go Gators!
